As the Regional Sales Manager you will develop a geographical territory, manage, and support distributors, develops key accounts and use the technical resources to develop new business opportunities within the Middle East Region.How you will make an impact:For this position we are searching for a sales professional that can drive a regional sales territory as well as help develop high level relationships within the Petrochemical and (Bio-)Pharmaceutical segment. The product portfolio consists of in- and at-line process control Raman systems as well as handheld Raman instruments used for Material Identification and Quantification. This position requires a focused, motivated individual with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.What you will do:
Manage, support, and evaluate the activities of all distributors in the assigned territory.
Support customer accounts with the timely and efficient use of resources such as customer support, applications, marketing, service, and engineering.
Deliver bookings and revenue commitments for the assigned products and territory to realize annual operating plan bookings and revenues.
Work closely with the Business Development and Marketing department to identify and access new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development.
Fully utilize our CRM system to effectively manage, evaluate, segment, and provide reports on the business pipeline and activities.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, workshops and seminars
Define and implement new sales processes and capabilities including territory management, key account and channel management and structured sales methodologies
Drive direct customer relations with key strategic accounts and channel partners
How you will get here:Education:
Minimum bachelors degree or in a technical field, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, Physics or similar.
English language is mandatory, additional languages will be an asset
Experience:
Min 5 years of prior experience selling or 10 years industry experience overall in analytical instruments or other relevant experience in the Petrochemical and/or Pharmaceutical and Bioprocessing market.
History of success managing diverse sales territories and delivering on commercial sales targets.
Experience working within the Petrochemical process control sector will be beneficial.
Knowledge, Abilities:
Coordinating and supporting the full customer facing organization including service, order entry, customer support to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Must be highly sales driven and be creative in developing tactical sales plans and executing these in a timely fashion to deliver results.
Ability to grow the business by identifying new markets and be able to develop and execute territory plans.
Fluent in English language, additional in Arabic language is an asset.
Customer focus, intercultural competence, and a professional attitude
The ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines and targets.
Must reside within assigned Territory.
Valid Driving license is mandatory.
Experience of using sales database (like SFDC), Outlook, and MS office suite
Knowledge on Optical Spectroscopy is an advantage.
