A Day in the Life
At L'Oreal CPD, we're democratizing beauty, making the best of it accessible to everyone. As a Key Account Manager, you'll be at the heart of this mission, partnering with key accounts to drive growth and shape the future of beauty in the UAE market. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager UAE, you'll be part of a diverse and dynamic team of 7, collaborating closely with sales and marketeers to bring L'Oreal's vision to life. This role offers real responsibility from day one, empowering you to build your own business within a business and leave your mark on the beauty industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Strategic Partnership: Under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager, build the joint business plan with your assigned account(s). Contribute to the commercial vision by sharing account perspectives, risks, and opportunities.
• Performance Management: Build, accurately forecast, and achieve account results: turnover, market share, and profit. Plan all growth drivers accordingly.
• Negotiation & Implementation: Prepare and lead account negotiations, escalating when relevant. Build the action plan to implement the Division and channel strategy. Ensure its execution and tracking down to the store level and sell-out. Suggest plan adaptations when needed.
• Retailer Expertise & Advocacy: Act as the expert for your account(s), feeding a retailer-centric account planning process to ensure maximum alignment. Build a retailer-specific development plan and a compelling story to secure retailer buy-in. Develop deep customer intelligence and a strong network with key stakeholders at the retailer.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Supply Chain, Category Management, Finance, and Marketing). Connect account key stakeholders of all functions with their L'Oreal counterparts. Ensure the consistency of L'Oreal's voice when communicating with the retailer.

• Core Skills: Budget Management, Business Relationship Management, Negotiation, Stakeholder Management, Business Planning, Data-Driven Decision Making.
• Experience: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in sales.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required. Arabic language skill is a plus.
