Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Accountant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the firm's financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting principles, and a high level of professionalism in managing sensitive financial data.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights for financial planning.
• Track expenses against budget allocations, highlighting any discrepancies to management.

Tax Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare all necessary tax filings accurately and on time.
• Advise on tax strategies and assist in tax planning for the firm.

Payroll Management:

• Process payroll for the firm's employees, including calculations for deductions, bonuses, and other compensations.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.

Audit and Reporting:

• Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports for management review, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain updated accounting systems and software, ensuring data integrity.
• Assist in setting up financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Support in implementing financial controls to prevent fraud and safeguard assets.

Effective Communication:

• Liaise with clients, vendors, and external financial institutions, ensuring clear and timely communication on financial matters.
• Collaborate with the CEO, legal consultants, and other team members to align financial goals with operational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Accountant designation (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within a law firm or professional services setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Professionalism, discretion, and a high regard for confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
