A Leading IT Telecom company is looking for •IT CCTV Engineer in Abu Dhabi. •

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IT CCTV and Network Engineer to manage the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of our CCTV systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both IT networking and security systems, with the ability to integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize complex systems. This role requires collaboration with IT, security, and facilities teams to ensure the seamless operation of our security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

CCTV Systems:

• Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and related hardware and software.
• System Integration: Integrate CCTV systems with existing IT infrastructure and other security solutions to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
• Camera Management: Configure and manage camera settings for optimal performance, including focus, angles, and motion detection.
• Video Management: Install and configure Video Management Software (VMS) such as Genetec, Milestone, or similar platforms for effective video surveillance management.

Network Engineering:

• Network Design: Design and implement network infrastructures that support CCTV and other security systems, ensuring robust connectivity and performance.
• Network Configuration: Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to support CCTV traffic, ensuring secure and reliable communication between all components.
• Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and optimize network settings to support high-quality video streaming and data transmission.

Security and Compliance:

• Network Security: Implement and maintain security protocols for both network and CCTV systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with both network and CCTV systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational integrity.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on CCTV and network equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and stakeholders, assisting with system issues and user training as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• System Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network and CCTV configurations, processes, and system changes.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on system performance, security incidents, and network activity for management review.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in IT networking and CCTV system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proven experience with IP-based CCTV systems and network infrastructure design.

Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and VMS platforms.
• Networking: Proficiency in networking protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching.
• Security: Knowledge of network security principles, including firewall configuration, VPNs, and access control.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document systems and processes clearly.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, or vendor-specific certifications related to CCTV systems (e.g., Genetec, Milestone) are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
