The position will assist the Continuing Airworthiness Manager to ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft being operated by the company. The position will ensure, with the Continuing Airworthiness Manager that the maintenance and record keeping are carried out in a timely manner./ Responsibilities
To ensure that all CAR M responsibilities are met for the continued airworthiness of all aircraft within the Gama Aviation MENA group.
Work closely with the Continuing Airworthiness Manager in establishment and development of maintenance management policies.
Analyze the effectiveness of the maintenance programs.
Manage the relationship between the UAE GCAA approved maintenance contractors and communicate with them during maintenance inputs.
Responsible for maintenance work planning.
Responsible for obtaining quotes and booking maintenance inputs.
Responsible for technical follow-ups.
Responsible for ensuring modifications and repairs are carried out to an approved standard.
Ensure Airworthiness Directives are reviewed and embodied.
Manage defects arising on the aircraft.
Prepare and assist with the control of maintenance programs and amendments as required for UAE GCAA and other Authority approval.
Responsible for the printing and issuance of technical logs, including any subsequent amendment.
Ensures that the Certificates and Licenses for all aircraft remain valid and current at all times.
Control subscription services for publications and the amendment of such publications.
The timely completion of all aircraft maintenance records, including logbook updates.
Responsible for receiving and checking and filing of work packs from the maintenance facility.
/ RequirementsEssential
Experience in continued airworthiness within the Gulf region.
Experience in managing maintenance requirements for multiple aircraft.
Experience in scheduling and managing maintenance requirements globally.
Experience in using CAMP, Flightdocs and CMP.
Knowledge of the follow aircraft and their maintenance requirements:
Legacy
Airbus
Gulfstream
Bombardier
Boeing
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Proven excellence in dealing with complex operational issues across cultural boundaries.
Methodical and very high degree of accuracy.
Proficient in using Microsoft word and excel.
Desirable
Understanding of written and verbal Arabic.
