We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Catering Coordinator to join our team. The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for managing catering orders, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring the successful execution of events. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for hospitality.Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for catering inquiries and orders, responding promptly to client inquiries and requests Work closely with clients to understand their catering needs, preferences, and budget requirements Create and customize catering proposals and menus based on client preferences and event specifications Coordinate with internal departments, including culinary, operations, and sales, to ensure the smooth execution of catering events Manage catering orders from start to finish, including confirming details, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating setup and breakdown of events Communicate with vendors and suppliers to arrange for the procurement of food, beverages, and equipment as needed Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as compliance with local health regulations Provide on-site support during catering events, overseeing setup, ensuring quality service, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise Maintain accurate records of catering orders, including client information, event details, and financial transactions Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback and address any concerns, ensuring customer satisfactionQualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field preferred Previous experience in catering coordination, event planning, or hospitality management preferred Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in record-keeping and documentation Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and catering software or CRM systems Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as neededBenefits: Competitive salary Health insurance options Opportunities for career advancement within the company Employee discounts on catering services Supportive and collaborative work environment
