You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to ensure the successful implementation of category strategies. Your goal is to optimize product assortments, pricing, promotions, and merchandising to meet consumer needs and achieve business objectives.Develop and implement category plans based on market analysis, consumer insights, and company objectives.Identify growth opportunities within the category and create action plans to capitalize on them.Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.Analyze sales data, market share, and other performance metrics to inform category decisions.Analyze & Optimize product assortments to meet consumer demand and maximize sales.Develop pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.Create and implement effective merchandising plans to enhance the shopper experience.Review planograms and ensure compliance across all retail locations.Work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to align category strategies with overall business goals.Communicate category plans and performance to key stakeholders.Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain to ensure optimal stock levels.Manage product lifecycle, including new product introductions and discontinuations.Track category performance and provide regular reports to management.Analyze the effectiveness of category initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
