Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales, profitability, and market share for your assigned category.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and competitor activity.
Manage the product lifecycle within your category, from sourcing and selection to launch, optimization, and end-of-life strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, merchandising, marketing, and sales, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable purchasing agreements.
Monitor and analyze category performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in retail and category management.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Category Management role, preferably within the Retail/Beauty sector.
Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive sales growth and profitability.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Arabic (highly preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant category management software.
Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a valid Iqama.
