Designation: Catalog Specialist

Role Summary

Catalog Specialist ensures that our brand's product offerings are accurately represented and fully optimized across our websites, online patforms and all aggregator platforms. This position will involve managing product data, optimizing product listings, identifying opportunities to drive business growth, and working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure our catalog aligns with customer expectations and business goals.

He/she is responsible for driving e-commerce success by ensuring that all products are presented engaging, informative, and accurate across all platforms, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction, conversion rates, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all items across Tablez's brands are accurately listed with clear, detailed, and up-to-date information (product descriptions, ingredients, prices, images, nutritional information, etc.) across various online platforms.
• Perform regular audits to ensure product listings remain consistent, correct, and aligned with current inventory, promotions, or menu changes.
• Handle all updates and manage product catalogs across major aggregator platforms, ensuring seamless integration and real-time updates across platforms.
• Ensure that all menu items are presented in the most engaging and informative way possible, optimizing for conversion by enhancing descriptions, images, and categories for better customer discovery.
• Coordinate with the Photography / Media team for the media requirements.
• Act as the point of contact for third-party aggregator platforms, ensuring that our product offerings are correctly displayed and that all data integrations are working smoothly.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure that special offers, seasonal promotions, and limited-time products are featured correctly across all platforms.
• Coordinate with the operations and kitchen teams to ensure availability and accurate product representation in real-time, accounting for stock changes, new products, and any product removals.
• Collaborate with the business development team to identify product categories with growth potential and improve visibility on aggregator platforms to increase sales and customer acquisition.
• Develop performance reports using data analytics to track product performance across all platforms (e.g., order volume, customer reviews, sales growth, conversion rates). Provide insights on trends, customer preferences, and optimization opportunities.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer behavior to proactively suggest new menu items, pricing adjustments, or packaging changes that could enhance customer engagement and increase sales.
• Track and analyze customer feedback related to online orders and product offerings. Work with the customer service and product teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Continuously evaluate the catalog's alignment with customer preferences, adjusting product categories, offerings, and combinations to maximize customer delight and retention.
• Continuously assess catalog management workflows, systems, and tools, suggesting improvements and innovations to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with the website management team for the timely execution of projects and updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in catalog management, digital merchandising, or a similar role, ideally in the food and beverage or e-commerce sector.
• Experience working with third-party aggregator platforms is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), and data analysis tools to manage product listings, track performance, and analyze results.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in product descriptions, pricing, and inventory management.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze large sets of data, draw insights, and make actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Possess good content development skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques for optimizing online product visibility.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, with an understanding of how a well-optimized catalog impacts overall customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
