Key Responsibilities: Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries.
- Provide product information and recommendations.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Accurately process sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
- Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Restock shelves and displays with merchandise.
- Keep track of inventory levels and report discrepancies to the management team.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist in setting up store displays and promotional materials.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Support other team members as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise up to 25 pounds.
