Awani Group is the one of the leading company dealing in Houseware, furniture and Kitchen ware products. Our stores are located across UAE which acts as one stop shop for household items.

Cashier :

Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party. Handles cash transactions between customer and retail store. Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers. Receives and processes all payments according to standard procedures. Scan products, operate scanning equipment and fix scanning issues. Processes credit and debit cards, helping customers use processing equipment. Counts money back to customer in an accurate and concise manner. Managing and handling customer returns and refunds efficiently and effectively. Informs customers about services available and assesses customer needs. Examine products being purchased for damages and price accuracy. Coordinate with retail staff for product inquiries and price checks. Process receipts and in store coupons for customers. Resolve escalated issues with angry customers. Train and sometimes supervise new cashiers or retail workers. Assists in the maintenance of store front and retail displays. Help stock shelves in proximity of the cash register. Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records. Count the cash in the drawer at the end of the day ensuring cash equals receipts. Performs daily, weekly and monthly audits of cash intake or cash drawers.

Skills required for the job:

Preferable experience in Housewares, Furniture and Kitchen ware stores. Ability to concentrate on details. High sense of thoughtfulness in a habitually active environment Ability to organize workload according to urgency. Multi-talented and resourceful ability when handling different tasks Highly skilled in promoting friendly atmosphere and efficient customer service. Effective communication skills and proven integrity, as well as sincerity

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
