Cashier Cafe, Bakery, Restaurant Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team in the food and beverage industry. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth and efficient checkout process. You will also assist in ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the work area. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner. Process customer orders and payments accurately, using the POS (Point of Sale) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely. Ensure the proper processing of discounts, coupons, and promotions. Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and specials. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of stock needs or discrepancies. Assist in the preparation and delivery of food and beverages when needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and seek resolution. Comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining hygiene standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions. Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures (preferred). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
