Role Summary:
The RCM Revenue Officer is responsible for managing the self-pay revenue collection process on the ground within a healthcare organization, ensuring timely and accurate collection of self-payments from patients, sponsors, and other payers. manage case-to-case at ED, IP and OPD of those patients with payment problems. As well visit the patients during their admission for clear payment plan. This role involves overseeing and supporting the organization's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of Self-pay Revenue Collection:
Supervise and lead the revenue self-pay collection on the ground to ensure efficient and effective collection processes.
Handle difficult collection cases in an appropriate manner to optimize revenue collection efforts.
Visit Inpatient cases with self-pay outstanding and coordinate with them for payment plan.
2. Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare billing and collections.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and payer requirements to ensure continued compliance.
3. Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as front office, billing, coding, and finance, to ensure a cohesive and efficient revenue cycle process.
Montor all related staff performance on the ground and report any non-compliance.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance, key metrics, and trends to head of dept.
Analyze collection data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance performance in collaboration with HOD.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field
2 to 3 years of comprehensive experience in the healthcare sector.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop people across different geographies.
Experience working effectively in a self-directed, proactive, results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Strong and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex patients and situations.
Ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare billing and collections.
Upholding the highest ethical standards in financial management, including integrity, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Exceptional customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with patients and payers.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and teams within the organization.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changes as needed.
Native Female Arabic speaker with healthcare experience is mandatory.

Salary Budget for this role is 5k to 8k depending on the experience.
