- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with their needs.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment in a secure and efficient manner.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure that products are correctly priced, and any discounts or promotions are applied accurately.
- Properly bag and package customers\' purchases to prevent damage and maintain the store\'s presentation standards.
- Process returns and exchanges according to store policies and guidelines.
- Keep the cashier area and checkout lanes clean and organized.
- Stay informed about the products and services offered by the store to effectively answer customer inquiries.
- Manage cashier shifts efficiently, ensuring coverage during peak hours and breaks.
