Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to products, prices, and promotions.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy.
• Ensure a positive overall shopping experience for customers.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Receive payments in cash, credit, or electronic forms. Provide correct change and receipts to customers.
• Count cash in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Scan and input product information accurately. Verify prices and ensure that discounts or promotions are applied correctly.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors in transactions.
• Stay informed about product features, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist customers in locating products within the store.
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries effectively.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Follow security protocols to prevent theft or fraud.
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the management.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and departments. Collaborate with colleagues to address customer needs promptly.
• Ensure that the POS system and other cashier equipment are in good working condition.
• Replenish bags, receipt paper, and other supplies as needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Tagalog language is mandatory.
