• Receives checks and processes all payments and refund transactions from the guests.
• Supports the HR Department with administrative duties.
• Operates the cash register and ensures that it is balanced at the end of the shift.
• Follows all restaurant procedures regarding discounts and promotions.
• Handles guests' concerns professionally.
SPECIFIC TASKS
• Processing and accepting payments.
• Keeping records of transactions.
• Cashing out the servers during and/or at the end of each shift.
• Supporting the HR Department with administrative duties.
• Coordinating with the Finance Department when required.
• Keeping records of company documents.
• Sending and replying to emails, making and answering phone calls.
• Carrying out administrative tasks such as filing, printing, scanning, binding, photocopying, and typing.
• Resolving administrative issues.
• Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Maintaining records of employee documents, birthdays, and contact lists.
• Maintaining records of suppliers' lists and maintenance companies.
• Preparing and sending daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Registering staff members on the attendance device.
• Maintaining manual attendance records in conjunction with the restaurant management.
• Maintaining complete knowledge of all our foods and beverages, outlets, services, and hours of operation.
• Issuing receipts, refunds, and changes.
• Recommending foods and beverages to our guests.
• Greeting our guests whenever they are entering and leaving our restaurant.
• Maintaining clean and tidy workstations.
• Pleasantly dealing with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Training new and existing staff.
• Preparing and/or updating the cashier and restaurant administration manual.
• Collecting documents from different departments in the restaurant and sending them to the head office.
• Receiving documents from the head office and properly disseminating them to the respective departments or staff.
