The Cashier is responsible for managing transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cash Handling:Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure the amounts are correct.
Balance cash drawers and make bank deposits.
Monitor and report discrepancies or suspicious transactions to management.
Sales Support:Promote and upsell products or services to customers.
Inform customers about promotions, discounts, and special offers.
Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping the sales floor clean and orderly.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant data as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Security and Safety:Follow all security procedures to protect cash and other valuables.

Qualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalent.
