The ideal candidate will handle transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. - Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with customers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments and issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
- Redeem stamps, coupons, and gift cards.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate amounts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
