Job Description
Accurately process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring all charges are correctly posted.
Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, preparing necessary reports for accounting purposes.
Provide guests with information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Address and resolve guest inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with various hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.Requirements:Prior experience as a cashier, preferably within the hospitality industry, is highly desirable.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail, with proficiency in handling financial transactions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic accounting principles.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per hotel operational needs.
A professional demeanor, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
