Job Summary: Looking for a Cashier cum Receptionist in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

Welcome customers and visitors in a warm and friendly manner
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system
Handle cash, credit card, as well as electronic payment transactions with strict adherence to company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors
Maintain a balanced cash register and prepare daily reconciliation reports
Assist customers with product returns, exchanges, as well as refunds following established guidelines
Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, recommending suitable products or services
Actively participate in sales efforts by upselling, cross-selling, and promoting current promotions or discounts
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism

Job Qualifications and Experience

The applicant must have a sales related background
Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications
Must be able to handle cash accurately and responsibly
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
