Job Summary: As a cashier, you must have the following qualities: honesty, blocking, accuracy, full knowledge of job risks, ability to withstand the pressure of work and stand for long periods. Ensure control & secure handling of cash and daily banking & assist with refunds/exchanges. Undertake administrative responsibilities for store records. Documentation all in line with Company Policies & Procedures. The cashier is responsible for maintaining the cash amount in cash at all times and for following cashiering procedures exactly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate.
• Collecting payments, whether in cash or credit.
Handle cash, credit or check transactions Collecting payments with customers in cash or credit using cash registers.
• Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and adequate change.
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the establishment.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Keep reports of transactions.
• Process returns and checks to see if items are damaged.
• Answer customers' questions and get your manager advice if the answer doesn't solve the issue.
• Bag, box or wrap packages.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the GCC.
• Strong communication skills
• Language :English and Preferably of Arabic Language .
