Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Foreman to oversee and manage carpentry activities for our interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and fit-out works, with the ability to lead a team of carpenters to ensure project completion on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Supervise and coordinate all carpentry activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Lead and manage a team of carpenters, providing guidance and ensuring quality workmanship. Interpret and work from detailed shop drawings and blueprints. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor material usage and manage inventory effectively. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications

:

Proven experience as a Carpentry Foreman in interior fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in the construction industry.
