Job duties and responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the carpentry team, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings and specifications to execute carpentry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all carpentry work is performed in accordance with building codes, safety regulations and company standards.
• Perform hands-on carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, finishing and other related tasks as needed.
• Inspect work performed by the carpentry team to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Order and manage materials, tools and equipment required for carpentry task.
• Address any issues or problems that arise on-site, finding effective solutions to maintain project timeliness and quality.
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity.

Job qualifications/requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Carpenter Foreman/Engineer in the fit-out Industry.
• Preferably candidates with a diploma or vocational training certificate in related field.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
