Carpenter - End-to-End Construction

Location:

Experience:

Education:

ITI/Diploma in Carpentry, Civil Construction, or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee

end-to-end carpentry work

in

residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects

. Read and interpret

architectural blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications

. Plan, measure, cut, and assemble

structural frameworks, wooden supports, and formworks

for concrete. Construct and install

doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, partitions, roofing structures, and flooring

. Supervise and execute

formwork, scaffolding, shuttering, and false ceiling installations

. Work closely with

civil engineers, masons, electricians, and plumbers

to ensure smooth project execution. Inspect and repair

existing wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures

. Operate

power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machines

with expertise. Ensure compliance with

building codes, safety standards, and project deadlines

. Train and guide

junior carpenters and laborers

on best carpentry practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, and joinery techniques

.

Experience in large-scale construction projects

, including formwork and framework.

Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, plans, and technical drawings

.

Expertise in using saws, drills, chisels, measuring tools, and CNC woodworking machines

.

Understanding of building materials, structural woodwork, and finishing techniques

.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

.

Physical strength and stamina

for heavy lifting and working in different site conditions.

Excellent coordination and teamwork skills

to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry Experience

: Experience in

high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, or infrastructure projects

.

Certification

: ITI in Carpentry, Civil Works, or equivalent trade certification.

Tech Skills

: Knowledge of

automated woodworking tools, laser measurement tools, and CAD designs

(a plus).

Safety Knowledge

: Familiarity with

OSHA guidelines, site safety measures, and risk management

.
