Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on commercial maintenance and repair work.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry tasks within commercial properties. This includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures. Your role will ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency in all tasks performed.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, fittings, doors, windows, and furniture. Carry out carpentry work for commercial properties, including offices, retail outlets, and malls. Perform routine inspections to ensure the condition of wooden structures and recommend necessary repairs. Build and assemble custom woodwork for various applications, including shelving, cabinets, and partitions. Work with other team members to complete projects within set timelines and according to specifications. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulations. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including job logs and maintenance reports. Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to wooden structures as required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the facilities management or construction industry. Strong experience with carpentry tools and techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and high standards of craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
