Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in creating high-quality wooden structures, furniture, and custom designs, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in all projects. This role involves working on interior designs, custom furniture, and kiosks, with a focus on delivering functional and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction and Assembly:
• Build, install, and repair wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures.
• Design and assemble custom projects based on specifications and blueprints.
• Design Collaboration:
• Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Offer suggestions for material selection and design adjustments for optimal results.
• Material Handling:
• Select, measure, and cut wood and other materials with precision.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform refinishing or repair work to maintain project integrity.
• Project Management:
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, hours, and costs.
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in the interior design or furniture industry.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent craftsmanship skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and materials effectively.
• Knowledge of finishing techniques like staining, painting, and varnishing.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in kiosk construction or similar projects.
• Familiarity with sustainable and high-quality materials.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills for custom projects.
• Basic understanding of design software (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
