The Cargo Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of cargo, including loading, unloading, and transporting goods within our facilities. This position is critical to ensuring that all shipments are processed in a timely manner and that our operations run smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload cargo from trucks, ships, or aircraft.
Handle cargo with care to avoid damage during transport.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move goods.
Secure cargo with straps, ropes, or other fasteners to prevent shifting during transport.
Maintain accurate records of cargo movement and inventory.
Assist in the inspection and sorting of cargo according to destination and type.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Report any damages or discrepancies to the supervisor immediatelyQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in cargo handling, warehouse, or logistics is preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs]).
