Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cardiac Surgeon to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. As a Cardiac Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and performing surgeries on patients with various heart conditions.Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations of patients and diagnose heart conditions
- Develop treatment plans and recommend appropriate surgical procedures
- Perform cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, and heart transplant
- Oversee the post-operative care of patients and monitor their recovery progress
- Collaborate with other specialists such as cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
- Use advanced technology and surgical techniques to perform minimally invasive heart surgeries
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of cardiac surgery and incorporate them into practice
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, procedures, and progress
- Educate patients and their families on heart disease prevention and post-operative care
- Medical degree with specialization in cardiac surgery
- Current state medical license and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Surgeon
- Excellent technical and surgical skills
- Strong ability to make critical decisions and handle high-pressure situations
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach towards patient care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
