The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will play a crucial role in the perioperative care of patients undergoing cardiac surgeries and procedures.Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patientsxe2x80x99 medical history and current condition to determine the appropriate anesthetic plan for cardiac procedures.

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patientsxe2x80x99 vital signs during procedures.

• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.

• Manage pain and provide post-operative care to patients in the cardiac intensive care unit (CICU).

• Communicate with patients and their families to explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns.

• Educate and train other healthcare staff on best practices for cardiac anesthesia procedures.

• Stay up-to-date on medical advancements and research related to cardiac anesthesia.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile operating environment.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

• Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology.

• Board certification in Anesthesiology with a sub-specialty in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia.

• A valid state medical license.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
