Car Purchaser Role Description: We are looking for a talented, experienced, and knowledgeable Car Purchaser to join our team in the used car industry. The Car Purchaser will be responsible for assessing and valuing used cars brought in for sale or trade-in, negotiating fair purchase prices with customers, and having a strong background in Sharjah Car Auctions. This role requires inspecting cars, knowing the car market price, and estimating repair costs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the automotive market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to accurately evaluate the condition and value of used cars. Responsibilities:
- Assess and inspect used cars brought in for sale or trade-in to determine their condition and market value.
- Arrange physical viewings of cars and present them to customers.
- Provide accurate information about available vehicles and pricing.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Perform vehicle inspections in a safe, courteous, and professional manner.
- Conduct research and use industry resources to accurately evaluate the value of various car makes and models.
- Negotiate purchase prices with customers, ensuring fair and competitive offers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of used car market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and private sellers to ensure a steady supply of used cars.
- Manage all necessary paperwork and documentation related to car purchases.
- Proven experience as a Car Purchaser or in a similar role in the used car industry.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive market, particularly in the used car segment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build rapport with customers and private sellers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately assess the condition and value of used cars.
- Ability to work independently and make purchasing decisions based on market trends and inventory needs.
- Good understanding of repair and maintenance costs to estimate fixing prices accurately.
- Familiarity with Sharjah Car Auctions and local market dynamics.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
- Auction car purchasing in UAE: 2 years (Preferred)
- Arabic and English (Preferred)
- UAE license (Preferred)
