Job Description

Responsible for painting cars and other automotive vehicles to a high quality standard. They must have an eye for detail and be able to work with a range of paints and other materials. They must also be able to follow instructions and have good customer service skills.

Car Painter Duties

Preparing and cleaning vehicles before painting Mixing paint to match the required colour Applying layers of primer and paint to vehicles Inspecting for defects and ensuring a smooth finish Polishing and waxing vehicles after painting Carrying out minor repairs

Ability to prepare a vehicle for painting Knowledge of automotive painting techniques Ability to match paint colours Ability to spray accurately and competently Good eye for detail Ability to work quickly and efficiently
