As the Captain Marketing Manager, you will lead, develop, and execute a high-impact marketing strategy to drive captain acquisition, engagement, and retention across all markets.This is a centralized role focused on scaling acquisition channels, optimizing marketing performance, and strengthening the captain value proposition. You will work closely with growth, digital, and operations teams to build an efficient and scalable captain marketing function that supports Careem's expansion.Key Responsibilities1. Develop and Lead the Captain Marketing Strategy
Build and scale the captain marketing function, defining strategic pillars, value proposition, and brand identity.
Own and manage the supply marketing roadmap, prioritizing data-driven, high-impact initiatives.
Allocate and optimize the captain acquisition marketing budget for maximum efficiency and ROI.
Enhance the captain communication journey across CRM, push notifications, email, and in-app messaging.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Support teams to improve captain satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Insights, Analytics & Experimentation
Leverage captain research, behavioral data, and competitor insights to refine marketing strategies.
Establish and track core KPIs such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Conversion Rate, Engagement Rate, Churn Rate, and Retention Metrics.
Implement a test-and-learn approach, continuously optimizing marketing initiatives based on performance data.
What You Need to SucceedMust-Have Experience & Skills:xe2x9cx85 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in growth marketing, acquisition, or lifecycle marketing. xe2x9cx85 Extensive digital marketing experience, including performance marketing, paid media, CRM, and marketing automation. xe2x9cx85 Strong expertise in brand building, storytelling, and customer segmentation. xe2x9cx85 Proven ability to launch, track, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, and digital). xe2x9cx85 Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or marketplace businesses (e-commerce, tech startups, etc.). xe2x9cx85 Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, comfortable working with marketing performance metrics and dashboards. xe2x9cx85 Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.What we'll provide youWe offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
