Highly respected CleanTech fund currently raising their third fund to focus on Power-to-X (Hydrogen and renewable energy)in emerging markets. Innovative and one of the first movers in the blended finance space. Candidates with b/g in Capital Introduction, DFI engagements, institutional lender networks are highly sought. Small team meaning you get involved in all areas and take functional responsibility - huge growth potential. Direct impact as this fund invests in climate change adaption and mitigation across Africa, Asia and LATAM with a strong ESG focus.
Reporting to the Head of Capital Raising and Business Development, this role will be part of a team responsible for raising capital from commercial and institutional investors with a specific focus the UAE and Middle East. Tasks include:
- Indentifying/sourcing investors (initiating and managing onboarding process from identification, initial contact, DD and execution of legal documentation)
- Establishing and managing the investor interaction programmes
- Keep abreast of market development to enable strategy development for fund prgression
- Proven track record of raising capital for funds, preferably from a PE (Infrastructure themed), or investment bank (beyond one off projects)
- Understanding of the due diligence and onboarding process
- Honours in Financial or Engineering degree (Masters or MBA adv)
- A passion for sustainable investing
