Job Title : Canteen/Catering Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Canteen/Catering Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our canteen or catering services. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and smooth operational efficiency while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily canteen/catering operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service.
• Plan and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to meet organizational standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
• Train and guide team members to maintain high service standards.
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and operations for management review.
• Assist in menu planning and cost control to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Canteen/Catering Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in Food Safety or Catering Management.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
