Job Description

Role with providing exceptional customer service and creating a pleasant dining experience for our guests. Candidates will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a satisfying dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive, assist them in finding tables, and provide them with menus.
• Taking Orders: Listen attentively to guests' orders, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations if requested.
• Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver orders to the tables promptly and accurately, ensuring that the correct items and condiments are provided.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the dining areas clean and tidy at all times, including tables, chairs, floors, and counters.
• Handling Payments: Accept payments from guests, process credit cards, and return change accurately.
• Providing Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a polite and professional manner, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
• Upselling and Promotion: Inform guests about specials and promotions and suggest additional items to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborating with Kitchen Staff: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Following Health and Safety Guidelines: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food and beverages.

Requirements:

• Previous experience not less than 2 years as a waiter/waitress.
• Knowledge of food and beverage items
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays of food and beverages.
• Stamina to handle busy shifts and multitask effectively.

Working Conditions:

• Busy cafe environment with varying noise levels.
• Potential exposure to heat and steam from kitchen equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
