Will maintain the Coffee Shop revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient working operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. The employee will be able to follow established recipes to exact specifications and create new ones as per market trends and customer feedback. Maintain and organize their station and equipment neat and orderly to meet the barista\'s expectations. Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily Caf\xc3\xa9 shop operations.
Being the brand ambassador in competitions, events, forums, social media and related activities, demonstrating passion for the brand identity.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
Train, supervise, coach and discipline staff for the efficient operation of the outlet and proper use of coffee equipment.
Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count and menu changes. Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments. Control and supervise shifts.
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
Create and implement new coffee brewing techniques, update menus and create seasonal and trendy beverages as per the market preferences.
Assisting in the creation and update of SOS and SOP materials.
Promote and organize workshops for the local community promoting the brand values.
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Solicit feedback from customers concerning food, beverages, service and improvement ideas.
Interact positively with customers promoting outlet facilities and services. Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties, Organize special events in the restaurant such as receptions, workshops, special celebrations, meetings, etc.
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events, as well as promoting activities related to the local community.
Ensure that all standards and outlet cash handling procedures are met.
Contribute with marketing ideas, creating and cooperating with the development of marketing plan and marketing calendar in a timely manner. Monitor social media activities and reply to customer reviews on all the platforms.
Manage the shop\xe2\x80\x99s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
Maintain profitability of the outlet to support overall operation. Control payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse). Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies and stocking shelves by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles and reaching overhead. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of all aspects of operation. Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed like disposables, coffee, fresh products and related ingredients.
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
Oversee throughout the facility areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure beverage and food quality and service standards are met. Verify products\' appearance and taste, and check preparation methods to determine quality. Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
Estimate future needs for goods, bar utensils and cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future shop operations.
Utilize computers to accurately charge customers, create forecast and revenue reports and write correspondence. Input and retrieve data and change computer procedures using complex series of keypunches to program system.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven work as a Coffee Shop Manager with multiunit experience.
Previous hospitality knowledge and experience in Specialty Coffee Shops.
Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-based environment.
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
Multitasking.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in hospitality management.
