Were a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.Role overviewTo function as the Cafe Manager and ensure all sections operate successfully in accordance to company standards while using efficient and modern styles of management in daily operations.The successful candidate will employ their coffee knowledge and managerial skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers satisfaction.Main Responsibilities
Oversee the Day-to-day operations of the cafe including but not limited to exceptional customer service and complaint handling, revenue and cost management, maintenance and upkeep of the cafe, and employee management
Ensure that the cafe operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standards
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
Hire, manage, and train staff, while establishing a working schedule, and assessing staffs performance
Maintain accurate and updated records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses
Must be able to clearly communicate tasks to team members
Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately and add new menu items based on seasonality if needed
Take beverage orders with precise attention to customers specifications.
Collaborate with customers to address beverages quality and service issues, and quickly resolve any complaints
Develop customer retention and acquisition strategies
Obtain customer feedback to make informed business decisions and meet their needs.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers while presenting Calos culture and values
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
Ideal CandidateQualifications
Must have had a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in reputed cafes as a Cafe Supervisor
Must have a certified Barista certificate
Must have a Barista Champion certificate
Must be a proficient communicator in English
Must be currently based in the UAE
Knowledge and competency
Ability to assist customers with beverage menus and ingredient questions.
Adequate coffee knowledge and different coffee mixtures
Ability to differentiate coffee aromas, and their taste
Extensive hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
Exceptional proven ability in management with experience in leading teams.
Ability to divide responsibilities between team members and monitor progress
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
A good understanding of Google Drive and the ability to learn new programs like Slack & Notion.
Ability to communicate effectively, particularly in written form
Possess exceptional customer service skills.
