Our newest opportunity is for a talented CAD Engineer, seconded to our Client from governemant sector in Doha, Qatar. We envisage success in this role to include; This position shall assist the CAD Manager in the CAD delivery for Project(s) under the Ashghal Programme. Manage key stakeholder interfaces to ensure successful delivery of various outcomes across the Project(s) and Programme. The position is responsible for a wide variety of duties that utilise Computer Aided Design (CAD) drafting in developing engineering, graphical and architectural drawings. The role is required to perform basic to complex drafting assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of drafting standards, practices, and techniques. Establish project controls. Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare landscape and architectural drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures. Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies. Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Performs routine drafting duties for landscape, architecture, and other trades as required for the landscape design projects. Utilizes CAD software and provides graphic support performing routine drafting duties for engineering, design, and construction services. Performs field surveys for landscape design projects. Utilizes GIS software to assist and prepare updates to beautification committee's projects database. Research, record drawings, archives, as-built documentation, and codes as needed for the preparation of drawing updates and projects. Conducts research of landscape codes and accessibility guidelines when required and/or directed by other team members and/or supervisor. Qualifications
