Cad Draughtsman (interior Fitout)
Job Description
Location: Abu Dhabi
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Develop layouts, plans, and shop drawings for interior fitout projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site teams to understand design requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to incorporate technical details into drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings, technical documentation, and BOQ-related drawings for approval.
• Maintain a systematic archive of all project drawings and revisions.
• Review and update drawings based on client and project manager feedback.
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements, gather information, and ensure alignment with design plans.
QUALIFICATION
• 3 to 4 years experience as Autocad draughtsman in the Interior Fitout field.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Civil, or Interior Design Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3DS Max, Revit, or other rendering software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of joinery, furniture detailing, and material specifications.
