Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and design specifications.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
• Prepare and organize drawing sets for internal review, client presentations, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to integrate their input into the drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of design presentations, renderings, and other visual materials as needed.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and version control.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in architectural drafting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman in the architecture discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and/or Revit. Experience with other software such as SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD is a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
