Job Responsibilities: CAD Designer

Position Overview:

The CAD Designer/Architectural Draughtsman will work closely with the design and project teams to create detailed drawings and plans for interior projects. The role involves translating design concepts into technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, and adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing and Design:
• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for interior designs and architectural plans.
• Develop detailed layouts, sections, elevations, and material specifications.
• Revise and update designs based on feedback from the design team or clients.
• Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Assist in translating design concepts into technical documentation for execution.
• Material and Product Detailing:
• Create accurate drawings that specify materials, finishes, and joinery details.
• Ensure compatibility between design intent and execution.
• Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure all drawings adhere to local building codes, safety regulations , and company quality standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, trends, and technologies relevant to the interior design industry.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
• Provide regular updates to the project manager regarding design progress and challenges.
• Site and Execution Support:
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper interpretation of drawings.
• Address any on-site technical queries related to the drawings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD , SketchUp , and 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, 3ds Max).
• Strong knowledge of architectural drafting standards and detailing.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of interior materials, finishes, and their applications.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Expected Start Date: 02/01/2025
