MicroTech is seeking a C2 Radio Systems Support Level II for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Al Udeid AB, Qatar. The CAOC team shall install, operate, maintain, administer and manage C2 radio systems hardware, software, applications and services to ensure services are operational and available with minimum interruption. Radio systems include, but are not limited to, Wide Area Voice Environment (WAVE), High Performance Wave (HPW), Iridium Ground Entry Point System (IGEPS), Joint Range Extension (JREAP-B and C), Transportable Aviation C2 Transmit Receive Shelter (TATR), PRC-117G, and AN/PRC-112 equipment and associated switches, routers, encryption devices and cabling providing connectivity. Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support; Perform all technical support and O&M activities for radio systems; Shall provide cryptographic equipment/COMSEC support, as required, as an alternate COMSEC custodian. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installing, configuring, operating and maintaining encryption devices; performing hardware, software or firmware upgrades; and loading, rekeying and remotely managing encryption devices; and handling, managing and securing COMSEC material IAW AFMAN 17-1302-O, Communications Security Operations. Install, configure, upgrade, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair radio system hardware (radios, servers, workstations and other devices) and software (OS and applications software and firmware); Manage and administer radio system servers and clients (e.g., WAVE), and user accounts, profiles and access; Monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment. Monitor system performance, and detect and resolve problems; Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; and provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of- life/end-of-support COTS products to government; Assist with the tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, service level agreements renewals for systems equipment and software; Coordinate with system program offices (or commercial vendors) and implement approved hardware/software changes, upgrades and enhancements, as directed by the Government; Update and maintain as-built radio equipment and systems (virtual and physical) configuration, connectivity, engineering and installation drawings, diagrams and documentation; and publish semi-annually Qualifications
2+ years Radio System experience; AND DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher ; and Motorola WAVE Certified Integration Engineer (WCIE) or equivalent certification Ability to work 12-hour shift schedule Active Secret Clearance required
