Job Description

One of the Leading Holding Company is looking to hire Buyer (Garage and Logistics)

Procurement and Sourcing:

• Identify, evaluate, and procure spare parts, tools, and equipment for garage operations.
• Source logistics services, such as transportation, fleet maintenance, and warehousing, based on operational needs.
• Use SAP or Oracle systems to manage purchase requisitions, orders, and supplier information.

Vendor Management:

• Build and sustain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct regular vendor assessments and negotiate favourable terms and contracts.
• Resolve supplier performance issues to maintain operational continuity.

Cost and Inventory Management:

• Monitor and control procurement costs through market analysis and competitive sourcing.
• Use SAP/Oracle to track inventory levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Develop cost-saving strategies and identify process improvements.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier agreements within SAP/Oracle.
• Generate reports on procurement performance and supplier compliance.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with garage and logistics teams to forecast and fulfil material requirements.
• Address issues related to delayed deliveries, defective products, or operational needs proactively. oLiaise with finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with company objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and innovations in the garage and logistics sectors.
• Optimize procurement workflows and processes using SAP/Oracle functionalities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
