Our company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of butcher. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities . Maintaining superior hygiene, health and safety standards . All machines and equipment must be kept in good repair and must be handled with care at all times . Operates poultry-processing equipment . Prepares, saws, mixes, tenderizes, weighs and packages poultry products . Cuts, trims, bones, ties and grinds meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish . Performs other duties as assigned to him by his superior . To monitor stock movement and maintain update the order guide Qualifications . Prior meat-cutting/handling experience preferred . Prior Meat cutting/butchering experience preferred but not required . Be an experienced / apprentice trained qualified butcher . Carry out duties in a timely manner . Understand and follow all weights and Measurements requirements . Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness and to check signage and labeling for accurate pricing . Have worked at least 3 years as a butcher or relevant experience
