Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Manager - MEA for our newly established Lifestyle and Consumer Divisions. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales and operations within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This role focuses on the consumer goods licensing sector and the development of lifestyle division franchises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, operational oversight, and a deep understanding of the consumer goods and lifestyle markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• + Sales Management:
+ - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for the MEA region.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and attainment of sales objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
+ Operations Oversight:
+ - Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all sales-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage the sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
+ Consumer Goods Licensing:
+ - Develop and manage licensing agreements with key partners and stakeholders in the consumer goods sector.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize profitability and market penetration.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and maintain strong relationships with licensees.
+ Lifestyle Division Franchise Development:
+ - Identify and evaluate potential franchise opportunities within the lifestyle division.
- Develop and implement franchise expansion strategies to drive growth in the MEA region.
- Provide training and support to franchisees to ensure brand consistency and operational success.
+ Client Relationship Management:
+ - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business growth.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Regularly update clients on new products, services, and promotional opportunities.
+ Reporting and Analysis:
+ - Prepare regular sales and operational reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for enhancement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on consumer goods and licensing.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the MEA region.
• Strong understanding of the consumer goods and lifestyle markets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel within the MEA region as required.
