Job Summary:
The Business Development Specialist at Reges Events plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and targeting new business opportunities in corporate, government, and exhibition sectors.
This role focuses on expanding the company's client base into untapped markets such as conferences, exhibitions, and institutional events while fostering long-term relationships with clients.
The position requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional client experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Market Research and Lead Generation:
• Conduct research to identify potential clients in targeted sectors such as corporate entities, government institutions, and exhibitions.
• Utilize professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage leads efficiently.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:
• Engage with new clients and secure partnerships by presenting tailored and effective proposals.
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients during the initial engagement stages.
• Proposal Preparation and Presentations:
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling event proposals aligned with client needs.
• Skillfully deliver presentations to clients, emphasizing the company's strengths and unique services.
• Achieving Sales Targets:
• Develop and implement plans to meet defined sales targets.
• Track sales performance and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Market Expansion:
• Explore new markets for corporate and government events.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration in conferences and exhibitions to enhance the company's presence in these sectors.
• Internal Coordination:
• Work closely with design and customer service teams to ensure client requirements are efficiently met.
• Provide client feedback to management to improve services and offerings.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare comprehensive reports on sales performance, future opportunities, and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Analyze sales data to understand client needs and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales, in the events industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of the events and exhibitions sector in the UAE.
• Exceptional organizational and market analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Valid UAE driver's license.
