: Business Development & Retail Distribution Manager
Position Overview: The Business Development & Retail Distribution Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the company's products or services through strategic development and effective management of retail distribution channels. This role combines business development initiatives with the operational oversight of retail distribution, ensuring the efficient delivery of products to consumers.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development:
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for new markets and customer segments.
• Analyze competitors and industry trends to develop strategies that give the company a competitive edge.
• Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement business development strategies aimed at increasing company revenue and market share.
• Create and execute plans for customer acquisition and retention.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Identify potential clients and convert them into customers through persuasive sales techniques.
• Sales and Revenue Generation:
• Develop sales strategies and objectives, aligning them with overall company goals.
• Prepare sales contracts and negotiate terms to maximize profitability.
Retail Distribution:
• Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
• Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution of products.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, transporters, and retailers to streamline distribution.
• Inventory Control:
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Implement inventory management practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Warehouse Management:
• Supervise warehouse operations, including staff management, scheduling, and training.
• Ensure that the warehouse is organized, safe, and compliant with industry standards.
• Order Fulfillment:
• Direct and coordinate the order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Address and resolve any issues related to order processing and delivery.
General Responsibilities:
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on business development and distribution activities.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to align strategies and achieve business goals.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, retail distribution, and work experience from ladies fashion bags accessories and footwears / ALDO-NINEWEST-GUESS-H&M-MANGO-ZARA. .
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of market trends and retail distribution practices
