As we expand our operations to the UAE, we are excited to announce the opening of our Sharjah retail branch last summer. We're seeking an experienced and driven Operations Executive to join our team and help grow our presence in the UAE and GCC regions.
Position Overview:
The Operations Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store in Sharjah while driving business development in the UAE. This position involves managing the retail team, overseeing store operations, and implementing strategies to uphold our brand reputation. Additionally, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with educational institutions and local businesses, and implementing sales and operational strategies to drive our growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
•Retail Management•
• Manage daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and a positive customer experience.
• Organize and supervise retail staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and maintain brand reputation.
• Implement and monitor sales strategies in-store to achieve targets and enhance customer engagement.
• Handle senior-level issues and problem resolution to ensure a seamless customer experience.
•Business Development•
• Conduct market research to identify potential schools and businesses for new business opportunities.
• Arrange and attend meetings with school headteachers, business owners, and other decision-makers to promote our products and services.
• Develop and nurture relationships with educational institutions to secure long-term partnerships and school contracts.
•Operations Management•
• Coordinate and manage deliveries from manufacturers, ensuring timely arrival and accuracy of stock.
• Liaise with embroiderers and printers to ensure product quality and brand compliance.
• Assist with recruitment efforts to build a strong, reliable retail team and support staff training and development.
Qualifications:
• Good English Language Skills (Arabic as additional would be beneficial)
• Proven experience in a retail management role, ideally within the garment or uniform sector.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting and managing retail teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in business development, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and securing new business.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with school contracts, the garment industry, or workwear is a plus.
