Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the facility management industry, particularly in the soft services and hard services sectors.
• Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads and convert them into profitable contracts.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of our facility management services.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and regular follow-up.
• Understand client needs and provide customized facility management solutions that address their specific requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams (operations, technical support, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Prepare detailed proposals, cost estimates, and service agreements for prospective clients.
• Participate in the tender process, responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotes) in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all submitted proposals align with company standards and client expectations.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, understand their needs, and uncover business development opportunities.
• Analyze competitors' offerings and propose strategies to differentiate our services and win new business.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build brand awareness and establish new relationships.:
• Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and key metrics to management.
• Provide regular updates on business development progress, including challenges and successes.
• Utilize CRM tools and other sales platforms to maintain accurate client records and follow-up schedules.
• Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure smooth project implementation and timely service delivery.
• Participate in the post-sale process, assisting with the transition from sales to operational execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the facility management industry, with a focus on soft services (e.g., cleaning, security, landscaping) and hard services (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Mechanical or electrical engineer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong track record of successfully generating new business, closing deals, and managing client accounts.
• Knowledge of facility management services, both soft and hard, and an understanding of the market trends and challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to senior-level executives.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide creative solutions tailored to client needs.
• Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and business development activities.
