We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our restaurant team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, such as catering contracts, events, and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.
2. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase brand visibility.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote the restaurant and engage with customers.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell menu items and services.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure loyalty and retention.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to inform business development and marketing strategies.
5. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
6. Event Planning and Management:
- Coordinate and execute events, such as weddings, corporate functions, and themed nights.
- Ensure events are delivered to a high standard, meeting customer expectations and revenue targets.
Performance Targets:
- First 3 months:
Increase sales by 50% per month by capitalizing on low hanging opportunities and marketing initiatives.
- After 3 months:
Achieve a minimum sales growth of 10% per month, with a focus on sustaining and building on existing business relationships.
Requirements:
- Suitable Qualification Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, in the hospitality or F&B industry, especially in Ajman and Sharjah.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills an advantage.
